We respectfully request an adults only ceremony and reception. Kids are invited to our welcome party on Thursday evening and beach day on Saturday. We will have a kids camp/a hub for teenagers to hang at our rented guest house (Blind Tiger) on Friday. Please connect with Tom or Steph to coordinate!

Please arrive at Fogg’s Water Taxi at 72 Commercial St, Portland, ME 04101 no later than 2:45pm. Since it is a private boat departure, being late would suck a lot.

After the ceremony, we will have snacks and drinks on the island before stepping back on to the ferry. From there, we will boat back to Portland and parade on to the reception!

Summer in Maine is typically 70 - 80 degrees. However, New England weather is a little unpredictable in the early afternoon. You should bring an additional layer for the boat ride and ceremony just in case.

It is about an 8 minute walk to get to the ceremony site from the ferry dock. You can rent golf carts upon arrival (it’s the typical mode of transportation around the island) if you’d prefer not to walk. 

It is also about an 8 minute walk from the Portland docks to the reception. If you prefer, you can catch a ride share. For those walking, we will have music guiding you to the reception so you won’t get lost out there.

We’re not expecting gifts. We’re just so happy to celebrate our day with you! That said, if you would still like to, you are welcome to make a monetary gift towards our honeymoon and/or make a donation to a few organizations that help our Portland community.
